Danielle was so calm and helpful during my stay. I never felt I was inconveniencing her if I needed something and she was very timely with my meds which I appreciated. Most of all, Danielle was there for me more than once in the middle of the night when I was crying because I was going to be discharged before my baby was. She was also supportive and comforting when I was emotional if I couldn't make it down to the nursery for feedings or when I was just sad to leave the nursery.
Danielle was calming and comforting, and it was very unexpected to have a nurse go above and beyond to talk with me like a friend or voice of reason. She not only listened but offered practical ideas that helped me look at my situation positively.
For example: reassuring that I could spend as much time in the nursery as I wanted and, that doing so, I would learn that much more about how to care for my baby. Also that my baby was there to get better and better so he could come home.
Thank you for everything Danielle. I truly appreciate you and all those mommas are lucky to have you care for them! Thank you for treating me like a person and for your attentiveness!
