I would like to mention one person who especially made a difference in my life, my nurse, Lisa. Lisa listened to my tales of homelessness and jail as she assisted me during 'laps' around the floor. She had such empathy and compassion! She helped me with a modesty issue I had by making everyone aware of my situation, so I wasn't embarrassed and by preparing me for what to expect during surgery. But most of all, Lisa was my cheerleader, telling me how well I was doing and calling me "a superstar" and constantly encouraging me in my life (about personal things I told her) and in my recovery, she helped me in ways I can't explain. I owe such a quick and complete recovery to her professional and sophisticated care. As long as I live, I will ask God to bless Lisa and her family and be thankful to have met such a wonderful person.
