I want to commend one of your nurses (Frank) for going above and beyond his call of duty. My wife was on her way to work at 6:00 am, when a gentleman ran a red light and t-boned her car in the middle of an intersection. After noticing that the other driver was okay, Frank and his partner ran over to her car, noticing that she was somewhat frantic in trying to get out of her car, but could not because of the damage to her vehicle. Smelling smoke (which later was found to be anti-freeze) they pulled her through the back window and assisted her till the ambulance arrived on the scene. Knowing that he could/would be late for work as he stated he could not leave the scene until he felt my wife was in good hands with the paramedics, as he felt she was not in a great place at that time. Once he found out she was being transported to ORMC he felt he could move on and get to work. She was in the trauma unit for 6-8 hours, being treated and also waiting for a room to open, but in the late afternoon a room opened, and as they were getting her situated, guess who walked in, Frank! Not only was that super compassionate and professional from his point, it just seemed to bring a calming effect over her, as she got reunited with a familiar face that she had talked about all day, the person who took the time to make sure she was safe/okay/but in good hands before he left. To me, that speaks volume to Frank as a person. My wife is on a slow road to recovery, but both of us just want to thank you for a great employee that you have in Frank, and you're blessed to have him. Please give him our best once again, and thanks for the great care she got there for those two days.
