Lindsay Henel went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and cared for. I was taken care of by many nurses during my four-day stay, but I have never seen another nurse care with such kindness and compassion as Lindsay. Always genuinely happy and smiling upon entering her room, Lindsay was eager to help her patients, along with the other nurses. There were so many little things that Lindsay did that made my stay a little bit easier. When I left the hospital, I told her that she should be proud of herself because she is a special person who truly makes a difference in the lives of others. I can think of no one more deserving for this award than Lindsay.
