Carolyn has a quality of caring that is very rare - not only in the health care system but in society as a whole. Carolyn treats her patients with such care and listens to your concerns. Not only does she listen but acts on them as well. I was very upset at times and getting depressed. Carolyn was the only one to go out of their way to get me answers and get me released. Carolyn, at times, stopped her lunch break to hunt doctors down, got on the phone to the lab who was dragging their feet on a blood test I needed before I could go home. I originally came in for a Lyme test. Over the course of my stay I asked several staff members for my results. The only answer I received was we don't think it's Lyme. Carolyn looked at my results for the test and answered my question. I hope Carolyn never loses that compassion.

During my recent stay at LVH-P Carolyn was my nurse for at least two days. The reason for my stay was due to a reaction from my first chemo treatment. One of the major issues, for me anyway, was large sores on my tongue. After explaining and showing her my problem, she told me they would reach out to the doctor and see if there was anything possible they could do. They did just that which gave me some relief. With all the medications that they gave me, Carolyn took the time to explain what everything was and how it possibly could help. I felt so at ease with her and she never made me feel like I asked too many questions or was a bother. Carolyn is a great asset to your nursing staff. I am so happy to have met her and have her take care of me.

Best nurse! Her attentiveness and kindness were unbelievable. So caring! I cannot believe how everyone here is. Everyone is wonderful! Kind and caring - what more could you want? They made me feel so good and very special. The nurse that took my blood - I didn't feel a thing! The doctor was very nice. I had a wonderful experience. May God bless you all!

Throughout my dad's stay, Carolyn was always so nice, made sure he had anything he needed and made me comfortable about him being here. I knew he was in good hands. Carolyn was even nice enough to say yes when he asked her to marry him, only as her hospital hubby, of course. I couldn't be happier about the staff who worked with him, especially Carolyn.
