My wife has been a "frequent flyer" at JMH, with 4 ER visits, 3 admissions, and a med flight transport to JCMC in the last year. Her care has always been exceptional at JMH. Emily Boucher cared for her when she was admitted to JMH and then again later when she was admitted to the observation floor. It is evident that Emily has a biblical love for her vocational calling as a nurse, a big heart, and demonstrable love of her patients.
My wife has numerous health issues; while Emily took care of her, Emily displayed knowledge, skill, and great compassion. Emily is not only caring for her patients, but also extends her caring above and beyond when it comes to her co-workers. She essentially taught one of her ICU team members how to dress an open wound and care for an ostomy bag. Emily is patient, professionally wise, and very encouraging and positive. She seems to interact well with other staff and is committed to increasing and enhancing their skills through enhanced training.
Emily certainly personifies "compassionate care" and is a real blessing among so many other JMH people we have come to know, appreciate, and love over the past year. Thank you, Emily.
