Karin Haski took charge of the ICU room that I was transferred to. My BP crashed to 60/40. She showed exceptional skill with coworkers and the doctor. I was in bad shape and she stayed with me in the ICU until my wife and two sons joined us. My youngest son flew in, on the red-eye, from Seattle. Karin made my wife and children feel confident with her exceptional skills. We cannot say enough about the kind of care shown to us as a cancer patient.

Karin is a nurse who not only cares for her patients but her colleagues. Recently one of her peers broke her foot and Karin, being the caring nurse she is, has taken her for doctor's appointment and provided meals, and has just been there for moral support.
In addition, Karin takes extra time with her orientees, working as a mentor and preceptor for them. She consistently stays with them, gives extra details in the learning environment making them more comfortable in a chaotic situation. She is always at the bedside as a nurse who follows through to meet the patient's needs. Great nurse, team player at the forefront of our medical oncology unit.
