Jana Russo has been working on our unit for 5 years. She is one of the best nurses I have ever met. She always goes above and beyond. She does anything to make her patients happy. With each mom, she teaches them everything they need to do to care for their baby. She is loving and caring and loves all the babies she works with. Jana sacrifices her time to care for patients as much as she can.

Jana is a star, she is a true gem. During rounds, her name comes up constantly as the nurse that was "kind, helpful, attentive, sweet, knowledgeable, compassionate, smart, and encouraging." She does everything with a smile on her face. She is a strong team player that advocates for her peers respectfully and professionally. She should teach a class on how customers service and patient care should be delivered. She is truly made for this.
