A patient was admitted to the ICU under meds and unable to talk due to tube and vent. Nurse Angelle was in charge of him and due to his condition, was the go-between me and his family. The family had arrived at the hospital before 7:00 pm and was waiting to visit with him, but could not until D.C.I. faxed L.O.L. security a visitor approval list. After repeated calls to Nurse Angelle from the family and many calls to D.C.I., Nurse Angelle finally received the fax with the visitor names. At which time Nurse Angelle was able to give L.O.L., Security and me a copy of the fax, allowing the family to visit. Without her patience, assistance, and dedication to her patient, this visit may not have happened. You are blessed to have such an excellent nurse on staff.
