I was admitted to Dell Seton Medical Center for oral surgery. I had been diagnosed with oral cancer. The tumor, along with some of my jaw and twenty lymph nodes, were removed.
The staff in your hospital was so kind, so attentive, and so nurturing. From the moment I arrived, I was sincerely struck with how positive everyone was. That was my honest first impression. After that, I found that it wasn't a fluke. Everyone I dealt with was cheerful, charming, and above all, empathetic.
Soon Cha truly did an amazing job and was deeply kind and healing in her own way. Her devotion to her calling and her patients was palpable and profound. I slept quite poorly but she was gentle and gracious company. She also had to remove and replace my intubation tube on her own, at some very deep-night hour, and as uncomfortable and awkward as that experience was, she practically held my hand through the whole process. It would have been 100 times harder if she weren't so patient and empathetic through that ordeal, such as it was. I am happy to say that that was the worst experience I had at the hospital. I was very lucky that my pain and general discomfort level was minimal throughout!
Soon Cha was a ray of sunshine even at 3 AM. She simply exuded nurturing in every way. Every interaction with her was kind and healing. She really deserves any and every accolade that she can receive.
