We recently had a young female patient who had an AKA from being run over with a car by her boyfriend. She felt like her life was coming to an end and her family was very difficult to deal with, so long story short we had to PEC her. So our Nurse Merical Boatner went above and beyond on her off day in the rain, with her kids to make the patient see life differently. She bought her a slice of cheesecake from Copelands with a card and a teddy bear the patient was extremely excited because that's all she asked for while being a patient here on Rehab.
