Danielle has been a bright spot in a cloudy situation. I am three hours from my home and the trip did not anticipate a hospital stay for my mother. Danielle has made sure all scheduled tests are done as quickly as possible by calling and personally inquiring if each department can coordinate to facilitate continuity in care. She was making sure that I was getting hydration and menu options to order food. She initiated the process of getting a pull out bed for me to sleep. I'm 6 feet tall so I was very uncomfortable in the chair the first night. Once she realized we would not be discharged, she promised that she would be back the next day to continue care. Danielle kept her word and came in smiling today to bring a smile to my 78-year-old mom's face. She called my mother "beautiful" and treated her with great respect. As an attorney, I am very detail oriented. Danielle has been meticulous with her care, attention, and professionalism. I have never heard of Union Hospital and I most likely would not have known it existed if this emergency had not arisen. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and authenticity that I experienced through the care of this young nurse Danielle on the PCU unit. Your facility is blessed to have her.
