I would like to recognize Sara Edwards for all the qualities that I most value in a co-worker. Not only is she a great nurse but she always arrives to work with a cheerful and positive attitude. I have never witnessed her complaining about her assignment or trying to change it at the PAT board. In fact, even when she is rather busy, she will stop and offer to help others if she has a few minutes. I really appreciate her being a team player and helping to create a collaborative environment which not only makes it pleasant to work with her but also ensures the best quality of care and best outcomes for our patients. The attitude that we bring to work does affect our co-workers and subsequently our patients. Sara is consistently a positive force that motivates and influences those around her. I feel very fortunate to work with Sara and I feel strongly that she deserves to be honored for the example that she sets by her kindness, dependability, proficiency, grace under pressure and total professionalism. She is a treasure!
