Kim is an outstanding leader. She is very fair to all her staff. She always listens to our concerns without making you feel uncomfortable and "gently" offers recommendations as well as listening to your recommendations. She helps all of us whether it's secretarial duties, nursing aid assistance as well as helping on the floor when the nurses are having a busy day. She's all-around "boss" and whenever there's a complaint or concern from a patient or family, she always handles the issue with genuine concern. I've seen her talking to the patients where she sits at the bedside and speaks gently, and it helps that she takes the time and speaks at eye level which shows her genuine concern for the patient/family.

Kim has been very patient, helpful and understanding when she took me under her wings in 2016. She has been very supportive not just to me but to everyone's growth. She has been a good role model, an excellent resource from the beginning of my transition to this new role.

Kim is a joy to be around. Her bright demeanor and ability to empathize with the staff, patients and family members is appreciated by all. We can always text her anytime and she is readily available to help with a solution. Many of the staff stay on MSO because they like working with Kim. She is fair and honest. She is a role model for all her staff to be our best during work as well as outside too.
