Nathan was with us from the first day of entering the hospital and several days after. We were traumatized, but Nathan showed compassion and attentiveness to our every need. He took the time to explain everything to us. He gave us hugs and a listening ear every time we needed it. He would talk to our family member even though our family member was not able to respond. Every time we needed to accept some bad news, Nathan told us in such a gentle and caring way that lessened the blow but helped us face the reality of the situation. This journey could not have been more painful for us as a family, but we were given the most amazing "angel" in Nathan, who helped us step by step.
