Dani Feraro is very positive and hardworking. She would always ask how I was doing and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Dani was always concerned with how I was progressing every day. During my stay, I did have some good news and bad news. When I received my bad news, Dani was there to provide me with comfort and reassurance that everything will be all right. She was able to answer all my questions and provided me with follow-ups as they arise.
Dani encompasses all of the qualities that make an excellent nurse. She displays the clinical skills and attention to details that are needed to focus on the care of the patient. I just moved to the Tampa area from NC and my family and I have had stayed in hospitals within the Duke and UNC Health Systems, by far Dani is the best nurse I have ever encountered. Dani has demonstrated the characteristics of what I believe is to be the pillar of patient care. She has the passion to care for the patient, she provides comfort during the good times and bad and she displays compassion in the time of need. She deserves the DAISY Award for everything mentioned above, to include, her kind manner, professionalism, and exceptional care. She is a great asset to St. Joseph's Hospital-North.
