I would like to nominate Holli Taylor for a DAISY Award. Holli goes above and beyond for each one of her patients every day. The most recent outstanding act of kindness was for a NICU mother and infant. This particular infant was born with an abdominal disease that will make a big impact on his life now and in the future. Breastmilk is a very important component to help with this infant's quality of life. Not only has Holli supported this mother to become successful in providing breastmilk to her infant, but also helped the mother obtain a deep freeze to store her breastmilk. The mother was wanting to return to work but did not have a place to store her pumped milk so her infant could continue to have breastmilk for feedings. So Holli applied for a grant through the Children's Foundation here at Wesley Medical Center to get the mother a deep freezer and it was approved! This is only one example of the outstanding care she provides for all of her patients and the reason I believe she deserves this award.
