Lynette Sullivan was recently rounding in her market when the motorcycle in front of her was struck by another car causing the driver to be thrown from his motorcycle. He was launched in the air at significant height and speed. Lynette with her emergency room background and strong clinic skills and knowledge immediately responded, being the first one on the scene. She immediately exited her vehicle after safely securing the roadway to aid the motorcycle victim. He was awake and alert, but a little confused as to what happened in the preceding minutes. He was helmeted but injured and was trying to rise from the accident due to this confusion. He was complaining of head, neck and pelvic pain due to the impact of the pavement. Lynette was there immediately to secure the scene and attend to his safety. She provided emotional and physical support, securing the patient's airway, neck and pelvis preventing major majority injuries.
