Valeria has been my primary nurse at EMC Out Patient DSU where I have been receiving IV treatment for several months. Though the treatments have made my disease much more manageable, my fear of needles has not subsided.
Valeria has been wonderful in starting my IV and managing my juvenile fear throughout the whole process. I just can't say enough wonderful things. She keeps me warm, feeds me, entertains me and before I know it, the whole thing is over. That certainly is the hallmark of a great nurse. When they can deliver excellent care to a worried patient and the patient can hardly realize the nasty side effects and fear due to the great company and care.
I come from a family of 4 nurses 2 cardiologist and 2 CRNAs. So, I give these compliments with an experienced voice. Valeria is the bomb and a true DAISY Nurse for keeping me held together each month.
