Wayne was my nurse 80% of my stay and went above any nurses duties every single day. Not only did he make sure my medical part was taken care of, he also made sure mentally and physically I was ok. One day was very bad for me; I was upset, very upset. Instead of just getting more meds he sat there. When I tried to shoo him away by saying, "I'll be fine" he said, "OK well I'm just going to sit here with you." That meant more than y'all will ever know. I needed that. Finally I opened up and let him know what really was wrong. Not an hour later he had spoken with my doctor and assured me there were ways to help with funds for my meds. Lastly (there was so much more) as I was being discharged, Wayne organized my follow up appointments.
