There are many words I could use to describe Kara: professional, caring, completely awesome. I was brought into ICU after suffering a heart attack and receiving two stents inserted into my heart. I was scared and she really took time to answer my questions and talk to me like a person. She was caring and understanding of my concerns. In talking with me and my wife she discovered I was a smoker and she took time to discuss quitting and made suggestions on how. She even expressed my concerns of quitting with the doctor and helped me receive a patch while in the hospital and a prescription for when I go home to help me quit.
She even took time out of her busy schedule to check on me while in PCU after leaving ICU. I am totally impressed. Her dedication to her job and patients should not go unrecognized.
