Monty works well with all the professionals directly involved with our clinic and with everyone at the Judson Hawk Clinic. She serves as a wonderful role model by making herself available to others as a resource and always acting professionally. She is able to communicate effectively with everyone on our team including the patients and families. She has a way of making children instantly feel as ease and building trust with families. She consistently goes above and beyond to help families get what they need, from help with scheduling appointments to coordinating other appointments at Judson Hawk, to reviewing and explaining lab results.
Monty has made special connections with many of the families we care for in the Strong4Life clinic. Just this week a patient with Down's syndrome hugged her and told his Mom he wanted to bring flowers for her because she is always so nice to him. She is quick to volunteer and serves as a member of the safety committee for Judson Hawk. She is kind, compassionate, a very skilled nurse, and is passionate about working with children. Every day she gives 100% to improving the health of the children we see in clinic. Monty Kirkpatrick is a true example of a DAISY Award Honoree.
