What is so wonderful about Katie is that obviously being caring is who she is. It's not so much about any one specific thing she did but it is about how impressed I was by her genuine and consistent concern and care for my 97-year-old father. She was patient with him and took time (in my opinion efficiently) to go above and beyond other good nursing staff to determine what was hurting or bothering him and this was no small task since he was unable to communicate clearly. We felt she wasn't just responding to what was apparently necessary but looking at him as a whole person and that is the way he is for us!
I would add that I saw the same consistently pleasant care for the patient in the same room with my father. I felt also cared for in supporting my dad. Katie made sure we knew what was going on and that we had the info we needed. She is so great, thank you!
