Jamila was one of my husband's nurses during his recent admission. She was wonderful both in getting him settled in on the floor, answering questions, and caring for my husband. On the second day of his stay, I became very concerned about a period of confusion he had on the phone with me. I spoke to Jamila about it when I arrived, and she thought it was out of character for him as well.
Though he appeared to improve Jamila went above and beyond to thoroughly check him out and make sure it was noted on his chart and to alleviate any other concerns of mine. She made me feel heard and definitely showed genuine care for my husband's health. She also made sure we both understood anything that was going on or changing and answered all of our questions.
