My daughter has anxiety, behavioral issues, emotional regulation challenges, but upon meeting Kelsey things became easier for my daughter and me. Kelsey was quickly able to recognize what makes my daughter "tick" and how to respectfully and lovingly care for her and support her in all areas of her treatment. My daughter would refuse medicines that would help her pain and Kelsey would take the time and have an incredible amount of patience to sit and explain and give examples of the pros and cons of taking or not taking the medicine. She was also attuned to giving my daughter choices in when to do some daily activities that we could be more flexible on. My daughter was always in a great mood when Kelsey was her nurse. My daughter got re-admitted to another floor and Kelsey came up to say hello and check-in and visit for a few minutes. My daughter wanted Kelsey to do her school visit and Kelsey took her personal time to do so.
