My husband and I would like to acknowledge the extraordinary care I received from Jeremy. I was so fortunate to have him as my nursing provider for six of my seven days. He has been outstanding. Both my husband and I are fully able to understand what treatments are going to be and more importantly what results we might see. He calmly reassured me that things are going as expected and gave me the stress-relieving assurances that I have really needed. He has kept my spirits positive and a positive outlook is so important in the healing process. My husband had a 30-year career at UMKC medical school retiring as an associate dean and feels Jeremy is one of the very best he has ever seen. Jeremy made a point of explaining what was happening and what progress was being made while explaining things to me in layman's terms and not in confusing medical language. How wonderful. He made sure he was here for my discharge and clearly explained that process. As an added bonus, he took the time to talk to both my husband and me about so many topics ranging from the weather to home repairs, to wrestling (my husband's favorite), these special chats put us both at ease and made me feel that he had a genuine interest in my welfare. Jeremy is a true DAISY Nurse.
