I could not think of a better way to describe Lauren other than "mom". Compassionate, loving, caring, and always there to help in any way she can. Lauren's sense of humor and happiness are contagious! I have personally seen Lauren go above and beyond to help her patients and those that are not in her care as well. Lauren's compassion and care for her patients have no limits it seems.
One day, as I walked by a patient's room, I witnessed Lauren at the bedside taking time out of her busy schedule to talk to and comfort her patient. While this may seem common, I was impacted by her care. That particular day was one of the busiest and most stressful days I have worked, but she managed to maintain a great quality of care. Even at the busiest and toughest moments, Lauren does not remove her wonderful smile from her face.
Working with Lauren makes me feel like I have my mother/best friend with me at work. She does not judge, she helps and provides advice along with good laughs. Lauren's wonderful personality no doubt aids in the healing process of her patients.
