I was in Alisa's area because I was receiving a port for chemotherapy. Alisa came into my room in an upbeat, positive manner which helped as I was unsure of what would happen. She took the time to get to know me a little (we are both from the Northeast) and was very helpful in explaining what would occur. Alisa also provided information on what to expect with my next treatment.
All during the time that I spent in the area, Alisa was compassionate, encouraging, and really wonderful to me. It was so appreciated as it was a long day-11:00 to 5:00. I hope the future nurses I work with are as compassionate and wonderful like Alisa. If so, I will be completely blessed.
