Natalie is truly an inspiration to the nursing profession. My husband had a watchman inserted and she made sure he was comfortable getting him warm blankets, making sure he was taking his medication and that he was drinking plenty of water. She took the time to visit with him about living in Nebraska and all his medical concerns. Natalie has the most wonderful sense of humor which a patient needs during their stay after surgery. She also made sure that I, a wife worrying about her husband, was comfortable. While my husband was sleeping, I shared some other medical issues with Natalie. I told her that my husband has cancer in his back; tumors on his spine. As I cried, she put those loving arms of hers around me and consoled me with her gentle words. Natalie's shift was about to end but she wasn't going to leave until she told us goodbye and gave us hugs. She is truly an angel of mercy who really cares about people, most of all her patients. We love you, Natalie! We had the best care! Thank you!
