I want to share how grateful I and my family are for the care and support Rachel Olson showed my brother over his 3-week stay in the ICU and tele units. His admission was difficult, caused by an infection and alcohol withdrawal. Hands down Rachel and the entire Meridian staff were terrific.
We thank Rachel for being my brother's number one advocate. She wanted what was best for my brother, and our family. Rachel worked diligently with the providers and other staff to facilitate a family meeting for us with the physician, even though it was a crazy day. Rachel never made us feel like she was rushing. She always made sure to give us her undivided attention, while also taking care of her other patients. Rachel communicated and answered all the questions we had, in layman's terms, to make sure we understood and were comfortable with the decisions we made. Rachel will forever be a part of our memories of my brother by providing him with exceptional patient care.
