Iwona paged me with a concern that her stage IV cancer patient was experiencing pain despite a highly specialized therapeutic pain regimen. Because of her attentiveness and care, the patient received an increased dose of medication appropriately, relieving their pain and allowing for a night of healing and sleep. Iwona is a devoted, caring attentive RN.

Iwona was so pleasant and was above average. She took good care of me, repeatedly checked on me, made me laugh when I was down. She was gentle and explained everything so well to me. She was truly above average in care, personality and was determined to keep me comfortable.

She went out of her way to work with the physicians in finding the proper meds for the medical needs I am under.

I was never a fan of Pocono but now things have changed. Iwona took wonderful care of my daughter. When my daughter returned, the same care and concern were shown. My daughter is going through a major thing and these nurses have been so caring and giving to her as well as to our family. Pocono is so different now and we are so pleased. These nurses are just wonderful.

I was admitted after having my gallbladder removed there were complications and I was put in a medically induced coma for approximately 2 weeks. I was diagnosed with compartment syndrome of the abdomen. I had 2 tubes stitched into the muscles in my stomach. Needless to say, it was very painful and uncomfortable. Iwona went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to my care. I was in bad shape. Iwona knew when she came on shift in the morning that after lying in bed for so long that I wanted to sit up for breakfast. She would get me up and make sure I had plenty of time to eat. She was also the first to give me a shower. The tech was also top-notch and washed my hair because it smelled. They combed out the knots I had in my very long hair. I felt so good which I hadn't felt since I was admitted. Iwona gave me some advice based on her personal experience and it helped me tremendously. Iwona not only is a great nurse but a wonderful person as well.
