I can't possibly describe what an exceptionally hardworking, dedicated nurse Crystal was for me. I had a thoracotomy done. Everything was going very well for me until two days later. My epidural had come disconnected 6 hours prior, undetected. I had the worst night of my life- in severe pain and feeling helpless and defeated both physically and emotionally.
Enter an absolute angel named Crystal. She jumped right into action and her persistence and thorough care got my pain under control, scheduled uninterrupted care goal, removal of the chest tube and was always available when I needed something. She listened to all my needs and was very humble when praised for her exceptional care. The world needs more hardworking, patient-driven nurses like her. Thank you so much for being my angel in my darkest hour.
