Tara epitomizes what it means to be a true nursing leader. She is supportive, empowering and approachable. She is available at any time of the day or night to respond to emergencies or to just simply answer a question. She does not shy away from challenging situations and remains calm and cool during the most stressful situations. Whether it be de-escalating stressed family members, providing a shoulder to cry on or to seamlessly transition into the role as our interim CNO, Tara can always be relied upon to go the extra mile for both our patients and staff. Tara's role modeling makes all of us strive to be better leaders. She is someone we admire, trust and respect. Tara cares about us as people and not just employees. She takes the time to listen, advise, provide support and even comfort when we need it most. I am proud to call Tara my colleague and my friend.
