Jessica took care of my premature baby with care, compassion and "love". Angels are with us every day, and Jessica is truly that angel God has sent to look after his children. My granddaughter was in God's hands throughout her critical care but God used his angel, Jessica, to administer the care needed at the right time. Together God worked his miracle for my granddaughter with the aid of Jessica, her doctor, and the rest of the NICU staff members and facility. Jessica never tired, complained or hesitated in any given moment in caring for my granddaughter.
Jessica may have exceeded as a professional but went beyond with her friendly reassurance that my granddaughter's experiences were normal and that she will be alright and survive. My family needed that reassurance, confidence, and trust that Jessica was able to tell us. Very frightful events that we could not understand, Jessica took the time to explain in detail the remedies, solutions, and monitoring that we grew to trust. My granddaughter's life is worth more than a million dollars; if I had it I would give it all to NICU. But if a little recognition with an award to Jessica will show her our appreciation and provide her with confidence in her skills this will be well worth it. I nominate Jessica Fix "Angel from God" for the DAISY Award for an extra special Extraordinary Nurse.
