Ben takes an active approach to meeting the personal needs of each patient in our unit. He shows compassion, love, and genuine concern despite the reason we were here. He sat and spoke with us not just about clinical needs but also about personal needs and interests. When you enter the start program it is a scary and unpredictable thing. This was my first and hopefully, last time to participate. The moment I met Ben, my anxiety and fear left. He does not try to be overly nice or genuine, he is just being himself. A truly genuine loving kind human being, who, above all else wants each and every one of us to heal. He truly embodies the Sainthood of the patron Saint Anthony and I can't imagine a better embodiment of the mission statement set forth by Saint Anthony and most of all our Christ and Savior Jesus Christ.
