Danielle actually had a day off and was planning on enjoying a baseball game with her boyfriend, A, who is a Henderson Firefighter. A was to march in the honor guard for the national anthem with fellow Henderson firefighters and police. They arrived early to the game for the honor guard to prepare, while waiting on the side street/side entrance to the field, before many of the fans had even arrived, Danielle looked over and saw a man go down to the ground on a ramp. She told A that a man was down to the ground, they ran over to see if he was okay. After checking for a pulse they realized he did not have one and began CPR. Danielle went to go find the AED, she ran into the baseball field looking and help bring it to the patient. The patient was shocked one time by Henderson Firefighters and pulses were back. The patient was resuscitated and even woke up able to answer questions. One of the amazing things about Danielle is she has only been a nurse for one year. She graduated in May 2018. Thank you, Danielle, for making an incredible difference for the man you helped save and representing Henderson Hospital with such professionalism and compassion!
