Recently we had a family from China who came to America to receive their twins born of a surrogate mother. Latasha worked tirelessly with the family through the interpreter service to teach care of the infants, explain appointments made, and feeding schedules since the twins were premature and of low birth weight.
The family had nowhere to stay the night, but Latasha worked to get them lodging in Chinatown, transportation to Chinatown and made them feel welcome in this country. When they were leaving, the father used his iPad interpreter app to thank her for her tireless efforts towards not only her care of their babies but for taking such good care of them.
Latasha is a newer nurse, but she consistently displays the qualities of a sincere and dedicated nursing professional. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
