I wanted to specifically recognize Jami Esslinger for the work with my father-in-law during the first couple of days of his stay. His pain was very severe, and he was really struggling along with being severely constipated with was greatly increasing his discomfort. Jami's critical thinking skills and knowledge to recommend a new medication was instrumental in resolving his discomfort nearly immediately. She was also very proactive in communicating with the physician to get pain meds that would get his intractable pain controlled. She was very compassionate with my father-in-law and he mentioned how good she was. I have long known Jami to be a hard-working nurse but I really appreciated her kindness and attentiveness. It was as though we were being treated like family.
