My mother-in-law came from Philadelphia for her granddaughter's wedding and got sick and was admitted to Parker for several days. You can imagine how upsetting it was for all of us that not only was she missing the ceremony but was so ill. Stephanie was kind and caring not just to my mother-in-law but to our entire family. Each time we visited she remembered to ask all of us about the wedding and the reception and offered to help all of us in any way. She visited with my mother-in-law several times during the day and, knowing she didn't speak English, learned to say thank you in Korean. She gave my mother-in-law excellent medical care as expected but also gave her and our entire family a gift of love and kindness during a very stressful time. My mother-in-law still describes Stephanie as her angel and she truly was that for all of us.
