We received a devastating phone call stating my mother was being transported to MMC ER. She suffered a heart attack, was found unresponsive, and after arrival to MMC moved to the MICU after the Cath Lab. In MICU we would meet Phillip, a person who will have a lasting impact on our entire family.
Phillip is the most passionate nurse we have known, taking the time to not only care for our mother but care for us. You never realize how much you need the nurse as much as the patient until placed in this type of situation. Phillip kept us up to date and informed, answering questions (sometimes multiple times) but never lost his caring positive attitude. He is truly someone special to our family in one of the darkest times we've had. We will forever remember Nurse Phillip for his kindness, care, and thoughtfulness. Words could never express or thank him enough for what we were given back because of him. Phillip truly goes above and beyond to best serve the families and his patients. Deepest gratitude.
