My mother was instructed by her physician to go to the Emergency Department due to some critical lab results. Fortunately for my mom and our family, Kim was the nurse who cared for my mom during her long wait in the ED until she was admitted to the floor. Kim displayed the utmost compassion and competency the entire time. She kept Mom and the family informed of all the tests and medications ordered. She checked on our needs often. She was very forthcoming with information to keep us and Mom updated on her status. Kim was a source of comfort for Mom who was not feeling well and nervous about her condition. Kim conveyed a sense of calmness at a very stressful time. Her level of professionalism and competency made this the best possible experience under the circumstances. We can't thank Kim enough for the excellent care she provided. God assigned an angel to take care of my mom and her family that day and it was Kim.
