Marian Cooper came to my father's home and went above and beyond. Marian treated my father like a person, not just a patient. My father has disorganized schizophrenia and recently was released from St. Josephs about two weeks prior, for his heart. It isn't easy caring for someone with a mental illness. Not only did she give me helpful advice, she also showed me ways to actually improve my father's health. The hour she was there I didn't feel alone in my dad's care. I felt like someone knew what he was going through and what I was dealing with. My children were present at the time and she was just as lovely with them. I will forever be grateful. Marian helped me see that there are people out there that can easily display compassion and kindness for others and go above what is required of their job.
