I checked in at 7:00am for my scheduled induction. After registration, I was walked to the OB unit. Olivia was waiting at the door for me with a huge smile. She introduced herself and we went in the room. She already had everything set up and ready, very prepared! She went right to work getting me all hooked up, helping me get changed, doing her assessment and asking all the necessary questions. You would've never known she was taking my medical history because it was like talking to a friend! As the day progressed she never left my side and was always there when needed. She answered every question asked with ease and confidence. She was proactive in anticipating my needs and offered suggestions that really helped when I was unable to think clearly thru the pain. She was very professional and calming even when I was anxious.
After delivery, she continued her rock star care helping me get cleaned up and presentable, making sure all our wishes were met, being patient and giving us the time we needed with our little bundle, bathing our infant and even continuing our care once we transferred to the Mother Baby Unit. I truly believe she is what set the tone for how our day went! She helped make our day even that much more special!
