While being a newly diagnosed cancer patient I, like many others, found myself in a very frightening situation. Having Jesse Pugel as my nurse has made all of the difference in how I have progressed in fighting this disease. From my first visit with Jesse, she impressed me with her sincere kindness, compassionate care and medical knowledge in meeting my needs and concerns. Jesse has not only provided me with extraordinary service but has also been kind, personable, professional, and gracious with all of my family members. She is a good listener and when asked questions regarding my treatment and often chooses to go the extra mile. One example of this is when she heard of the recent passing of my husband. She chose to spend her lunchtime visiting with and listening to me which brought me great comfort. The doctors and her colleagues are fortunate to have such an outstanding person to work with.
