As they used to say, "what a lady", but in this case "what a nurse and person". Sue was always there and when you talked you knew she really listened. Not only listened but took action above and beyond what she needed to do or to be done. She made sure nothing fell through the cracks and even let you know as much as possible about any concerns or questions and any answers she had received.
I came in on emergency status with my left lung filling up and I was having a hard time breathing due to lung cancer. Sue was immediately getting me into the rotation for the lung drain for the next day, but alas all does not go as we hoped. But she did try and not just once but multiple times and the same for some of the meds I take. Thank you!
Most of all she is not only a great nurse but a great person. Sue is the type of person you can talk to and know it only goes as far as you want it to go. She is a tree you can hold on to while you get your new bearings. Sue is a person who just has that extra little something that lets you know that there are still people out there who care.
