Tricia was on charge on a specific night and I had a medicine prescribed to me on my charts and I did not know how I felt about taking it, but she assured me I should at least try it because of the level of pain I was in.
I took it and was finally able to sleep, pretty much through the night, and she continued to check on me a few nights after she was my bedside nurse and made a huge difference not only in my care here but my emotional level of hope. I consider her a gift from God.
I think she should be recognized as so, I have never (out of several overnight hospital stays) encountered a caregiver like her, who was so passionate about her job and concerned genuinely for my health. She spent time talking with me and reassuring me in the most gentle, believable way, and every time I needed something as soon as she could!
I can only imagine if she had made this big of a change in my life in 2 nights, what her true, full potential is, she needs serious recognition, not only for her career in healthcare, but for the heart, soul, and mind she has. I will never forget her. I hope all her doors in life are opened and I know they will be by her integrity and passion! She can do whatever her heart and mind desire and she will be so successful. You are so blessed to have her!
