Carol was my dad's nurse during a very long day in emergency. She was vigilant on addressing not only his medical needs but also his comfort. She kept us informed of all medical results, tests and what the plan was for his care. She was professional, very kind and reassuring. She also was very respectful and followed through when I made her aware of changes in his condition. This became very important, as he was already discharged waiting for transportation and began presenting signs that lead to his admittance. She gave me a full report before the change of shift so I knew what to expect. Please thank her for us.

I watched Carol care for my mother during her EC visit. My mom was in testing. Instead of ignoring me, she acknowledged me and told me my mom was in for an x-ray and would be back shortly. She was very informative on administering medications, very attentive, friendly, caring and thorough. I watched as she cared for two patients in a shared room with my mother. She took time with both patients. She took the little brother of a patient for ice cream and kept him busy for a while. Carol helped my mother feel better by her demeanor and caring presence alone. She is an amazing human, nurse and needs recognition.
