Emily is a professional nurse and her actions and teaching affect every nurse in the Heart and Vascular Institute. She is always making sure that the patient goes home with the right medication, and if clarification is needed, she calls the provider to address the concern. Emily sends email reminders to the staff when she thinks that there will be potential fallout.
Emily takes action and fixes the simplest things. She does not wait to be asked and is continuously circling the floor to see if she can be of service to anyone. Emily is always willing to teach and educate anyone if they have questions. She is the "life of the floor". Emily always has a smile on the face and is a wonderful person, co-worker, and human! What an honor to work beside Emily!
