My hospital stay included the worst experience of my life. I came in thinking I was in labor only to find out my baby no longer had a heartbeat. Jillian was my nurse in triage when we found out, my nurse all night during labor, and my nurse when I delivered my angel baby. She was exactly what I needed in my nurse. She cried, she let me cry, she listened to me sob and question everything, and voice every concern and emotion possible. Jillian gave comforting words when she could. She allowed me to grieve how I needed to and process how I needed to without ever judging me. She let me have my experience with my baby the way I needed to, she helped me through an awful time. I will forever remember Jillian and appreciate her. I could never truly explain how much she meant to me. Jillian even went home and bought a book for me to read to my son because she knew I was worried about telling him his baby brother had died. Jillian was caring, empathetic, kind and she made me feel like myself and my husband and our baby were all that mattered while she was caring for us. Jillian made a horrible situation slightly more bearable, I am so thankful!
