My mother is a patient on the west tower OBS unit. Pilar has been our primary nurse. Pilar is a wonderful example of nursing at its finest. She is very compassionate and explained all of my mother's treatments in detail to ensure she understood her diagnosis and plan of care. She is very professional and kind. I have been a nurse for 30 years and have worked with hundreds of nurses over the years. My mom and I are blessed to have Pilar care for her during her stay. Her compassion and level of care embody the art of nursing and should be recognized and celebrated.
